Intel has launched Technology Wiki. It is a timeline of technology. People can register and add articles, technologies and gadgets which will appear in the timeline. Some technology articles on the Technology Wiki are telephone, remote control, laser printer. An article has been put on their for 2050 which is Programmable Matter.
The website says “add personal anecdotes about the effects convergent technologies have had on your life. Add a completely new entry. It could be a technology that isn’t on here yet. It could be about a technology that hasn’t been invented yet”.
- To add an article, you will need to register first.
- You then enter the technology name.
- Add the benefit this technology brought.
- Add a summary.
- Choose the year.
- Add any references, eg URLs.
- Select relevant categories.
