A new survey shows that IT security professionals are 'recession-proof'.
The global survey of 3,000 IT security professionals by ISC2.org (2010 Career Impact Survey) shows that more 52.8% received a salary increase in 2009 and 4.8% lost their jobs.
13% said they would be hiring 3 or more new permanent or contact employees in 2010. Many that took part in the survey and were hiring said it was difficult to find candidates with the right skills and level of experience.
